- Sonoma Coast/West Sonoma Coast: The center of the new wave of extreme coastal cool, tight, high-acid Pinot Noir/Chardonnay.
- Petaluma Gap (AVA established in 2017): A production area defined by "wind" - the Pacific wind flows in every day, thickening the skin and retaining acidity.
